Rock wool board sits in the wall, the roof, the floor, the panel core, and the partition cavity — anywhere thermal performance, fire resistance, acoustic isolation, and mechanical strength all need to be solved by the same product.

Why mineral, not foam

The case for rock wool, briefly.

Rock wool is non-combustible, vapour-open, and dimensionally stable across the temperature range a building actually sees. It does not off-gas, does not feed mould, and does not require an ignition barrier in most assemblies.

Fire
Non-combustible to 750 °C; melting > 1000 °C.
Acoustic
High sound absorption, low corrosion to fasteners and tracks.
Vapour
Sorption < 0.5 %; vapour-open without trapping moisture in the cavity.
Health
Asbestos-free; no objectionable odour; mildew-proof.
